Done

Really ready to be done with this trip. What a sad face that just says it all. Don't we all know how it feels to be close to home after a long car trip?

Goodbye=Hello

Goodbye=Hello

Saying goodbye is always hard to do, but knowing that someone is waiting to say hello makes it all worth it!

Happy

Happy

Riding shot gun and having a ball. This is a true terrier for you. Happy to be alive and demanding to be the center of attention.

Tired

Tired

This sweet girl was just exhausted after sleeping in the passenger seat all night. Now for a hot bath and cuddling. Who could resist that face?

Say what????

Say what????

What you talkin' bout Willis? This dog just couldn't believe his ears. His forever home was just around the corner.

Pit Stop

Pit Stop

This was actually taken before any dogs came on board. Once there are dogs in the truck it is all business. We head straight to the various rescue's. Occasionally stopping for a potty break, a refill on water, and wellness checks. Fast food and protein bars are a must to keep us going.

Food

Food

Thanks to our generous donors, we can help needy dogs throughout the west coast. These are truly amazing organizations with amazing people that help make this happen!

Delivery

Delivery

Delivering a few pallets of donated dog food to Food For Lane County. From that point the organization disperses it to needy animals and families in the local community.

About Us

Our love for all animals, big or small, runs deep. Our rescue efforts began while healing from the sadness of losing our sweet 13 year old Golden Retriever, Ruby. The healing began with a whisper from a friend nearly 1,000 miles away…”Can you help us?” It was that whisper that opened our eyes to a problem that isn’t going away anytime soon. Pet overpopulation, animal abuse, neglect and abandonment affect all of us and the communities we live in. Through our transports, we are able to save these animals from being euthanized in a high kill shelter by carrying them to the safety of our rescue agency network. Currently, our network spans from LA, California to Puget Sound, Washington. Here, these various agencies, provide the training, medical care and fostering to help find a happy, healthy and loving home for the animals to live in for the rest of their lives. As of September 2014, over 1,200 dogs (and several cats) have been transported. In addition to transport, we work with several pet food suppliers to secure donated food for animals in our community. Donated food, supplies and treats are distributed to food banks, shelters, rescue agencies, churches and the homeless. In the sweet spirit of Ruby, we wake up every day with the hope of giving these animals a new leash on life.
